KORG LEGACY COLLECTION ***A MUST HAVE***

The pack KORG Legacy Collection is a compilation of three popular synth version Virtual analog synthesizers Korg MS-20 and Polysix, and the vector synthesis synthesizer Wavestation. The set comes with a USB hardware interface based on that of MS-20, a keyboard with 37 keys velocity sensitive.

The MS-20:
The first model for the MS-20. Released in 1978, the MS-20 based on 2 oscillators and is renowned for his deep tones and aggressiveness of its analog filters. This virtual version incorporates features of the original MS20 and restores a youthful look to the ancestor by providing it with a polyphony of 32 notes, 16 votes in unison, parameters of advanced modulation and synchronization (MIDI Midi Clock).

The Polysix:
The second model concerns the Polysix (marketed in 1981). There is also a legend in the world of synthesizers. This model offers a 32-voice polyphony, a 16 voice unison mode, a sync to MIDI. Features will include all elements of the original model, namely a comprehensive effects section, an arpeggiator to recreate the famous sounds of strings and sheets that made the success of the Polysix.

With the Legacy Collection is possible to create amazing new sounds by combining the MS20, Polysix, and effects of integration and teachers. This result, (2 instruments + effects), may be recalled as a virtual instrument VST or Audio Unit.

Mono / Poly
This is a monophonic synth / polyphonic released in 1981 - at the same time as the Polysix.
It has 4 VCO, each modified at the pitch of the waveform of the octave, and level of output that can be stacked together to get a big sound, or cycled from one to the another to change stamps. Together with the VCF, the VCA, both EG and two MG, he offered a powerful programming structure and accessible. But its main feature was its functions Synchro and Cross Modulation which allowed to obtain complex modulations.

Legacy Cell:
But do not imagine that the Legacy Collection is a simple virtual instrument pack. Indeed, the originality of the software is an application called Legacy Cell to combine the MS-20 and Polysix and thus create complex sound structures around combinations (Example: MS-20 + Polysix, 2 MS-20, 2 Polysix, 1 MS-20 or Polysix 1) with the addition of two effect sends and two effects on the Bus Master. Similarly, you can create layers, splits and use for effects and plug-ins created especially for the occasion. All these parameters can obviously be stored in one of 256 performances. The Legacy Cell has been designed to be driven by the microKONTROL.
